T-Ball with the Bears

At Bellarine Bears we believe that sport can play an integral part in the health and wellbeing of young kids. It's not only great for fitness and physical skill building, but provides positive social  interaction for players and their families.

Our program runs for 10 weeks from Sunday 28 April onwards, and is held at Wallington Recreation Reserve from 9:30am. First time players are welcome to come along and give it a try before registering for the season.

Our History

Did you know that the Bellarine Bears have now been offering a tee-ball program locally for 12 years?

From humble beginnings in 2012 the volunteer run program has seen participants go on to perform at the highest levels of the Geelong Baseball Association.

Inclusive & Friendly

The Bears welcome any and all participants to our tee-ball program.

We set up our program so that boys and girls aged 5 to 8 years old can enjoy a supportive learning environment in which teaches coordination, dexterity and running in a non-contact skills based program.

Beginners Are Welcome!

No experience at all is needed.

All equipment & uniform provided.

The program runs under experienced supervision.

Our tee-ball coach David Crotty remains as dedicated to the region's young participants as he was when he first proposed the program 12 years ago.
